Just how romantic should the setting be
To make the scene for loving at its best?
As long as there is you and there is me,
I'm really not concerned about the rest.
Clear skies and sunshine, golden beach and sand,
Four-poster bed and satin sheets of blue?
Romantic these, and really very grand -
But wasted for I've only eyes for you.
In love songs and in poems they are fine
But in real life they don't amount to much,
What matters is your body close to mine
And scenery that's tender to the touch.
Forget the landscape, just remember that
It isn't where you are - but what you're at.
